うさが朝起きて読む新聞の一面に信じられない見出しが続いる。2019年1月11日金曜日、『保険過少支給 延べ2000万人』『データ補正し 組織的隠蔽か』。2019年1月12日土曜日、『統計不正 過少給付567億円』。公表する公的なデータは、さまざまなひとの生活に直接関係している。それなのに、平然と偽造が行われていることが、大きな声も持つ新聞社の努力で、小さな声のうさが知ることができた。うさは一度言ったちいさな嘘は、すぐに素直に”ごめんない”と言わなければ、相手との信頼関係がいっきに崩れ、もとの信頼関係を築くことは無理だ思っている。
偽造データを平然と公表するひとは、ひととの信頼関係をどのように思っているのだろうか。
信頼関係がなければ、社会は成立しないと、うさは思っているのに。
