数値の意味 Numeric intent

2019年3月23日朝日新聞13面に『政府統計　信じていい？』という大きな特集があった。統計のプロ3人がそれぞれの視点から意見を述べていた。

1.職員半減 プロ必要なのに

2.使い手次第で結果変わる

3.あくまで全体の見取り図

うさが読んで思ったことは、数値を平然と誤魔化すものが人々の生活に影響を与える統計を扱ってはいけないということ。

あたりまえのことだが、ニュースでながれる数値も疑うということも必要。

数値を出す側の意図を気にかけることが重要だと思った。

今週の感想：Impression of this week

今週もインスタグラムの障害が解消されず、ちょっと残念でした。

世界的な障害なので安定することを祈ることしかできません。

作品は、通常どうり製作しました。毎日、絵を描いていると、いろいろ発見があって楽しいです。うさはデジタル製作がメインなので、絵をアナログで実際に描くというより、写真を毎日撮っている感じかもしれません。

この作品は、和菓子のひとつである和三盆の配色をパレットで作成し試してみました。

薄い紫は、和三盆のイメージに相性がいいと思いました。

和三盆が海外でどのくらいの知名度があるのが、非常に気になります。

この作品は、もうすぐ桜が咲きそうなので、ピンクをメインに配色パレットを作りました。

ピンク色の和菓子には、桜餅があるので、桜餅を作ってみました。

桜色のやわらかいイメージを表現するのに、最後は油絵風に加工してみました。

As this work is about to see the cherry blossoms coming soon, I made a color scheme palette mainly for pink.

As there is a sweet potato in the pink sweets, I made a sweet potato.
