Friday, January 25, 2019. "There was a problem with Statistics 22 Statistics 56 Statistical Incorrect Errors / Uncounted 31 cases" in the heading of Asahi Shimbun as I woke up in the morning.
I thought that there might be more problems than I am surprised.
The headline of the article organized on the second page is "Verification with Statistically Incorrect inner ring".
I can not completely feel the consciousness of work related to human life. Furthermore, statistical figures affect various stakeholders. When thinking that people around the world are watching such a situation on the net,
I got sad.
However, I thought that even just news about such statistical injustice might be evidence of growing one step.
2019年1月25日金曜日。うさが朝起きて見た朝日新聞の一面の見出しに”基幹22統計に問題 56統計点検 誤り・未集計31件”とあった。
うさは、もはや驚くよりも、もっと問題があるのではないかと思った。
さらに続く2ページ目に組まれた記事の見出しが”統計不正 内輪で検証”とあった。
ひとのいのちに関わる仕事という意識が完全に感じられない。さらに統計数値はいろんな利害関係者に影響をあたえる。こんな状況をネットで世界中の人々が見ていると思うと、うさは悲しくなった。
けど、うさは、このような統計上の不正についてニュースになるだけでも、一歩成長している証拠かもしれないと思った。
